The Right Experience to Serve On Day One

With over fifteen years of criminal and civil law experience in the many aspects of our justice system, Rich will be ready to serve our community on day one. For nearly ten years, Rich has served as Court Attorney in the busiest trial court in Monroe County, where he advises judges on every legal issue a Pittsford Town Justice will encounter. Due to his legal expertise, he is often called upon to present legal trainings for local town court justices and other judges throughout the State.

Prior to becoming a Court Attorney, Rich served as a Public Defender for more than five years protecting the Constitutional rights of the most vulnerable in our community on cases ranging from minor offenses to homicides.

Rich serves in various leadership roles within the courts on the local and statewide level to improve the court system. In these roles, he has ensured justice, equality, and compassion for all. Rich has also championed numerous local access to justice initiatives, helped modernize the court system, and implemented changes to make it easier for court users to navigate legal disputes.
